Drawing Waters Exhibit: July 29 - August 4

Opening Reception at 7:00pm on Friday July 29, 2011.  

Join us as we celebrate this exciting collaboration between artists and scientists in exploring ecological change in our Northern lakes.  The exhibit encompasses a variety of artist mediums and travels throughout the state from April to October 2011.  You can follow them on facebook!

Jim Ramsdell Program: July 30, 10:30am - Noon

The 90 minute program, sponsored by Butternut Creek, LLC includes:

• a captivating slideshow titled "A Journey Through Nature To Creativity"
• a carving demonstration
• hands-on art; each artist will tap into his or her creativity through painting a wooden feather or fish

Sustainable Basketry Showcase: July 31

We are hosting two programs on basketry in the week prior to the Weekend of the Arts and the baskets made can be put on display in this showcase.

July 16: Sustainable Basketry Workshop. Learn how to harvest materials to make a basket - contemporary and traditional projects to choose from. 

July 25: Discover Your World - Natural Basketry for Young Ones.  Children create and complete a fun, challenging and age appropriate art project.
