Bring a bag lunch to your favorite Northwoods libraries for a one-hour presentation exploring the natural world. Our naturalists will share insights on various nature topics. All ages are welcome!

Description

Creating a pollinator-friendly garden takes more than planting flowers. Learn how to choose the right native plants for Northern Wisconsin, plan for continuous blooms, and maintain your garden for long-term success. This session also helps make sense of the “organized chaos” of native plantings — understanding how seemingly random arrangements support pollinators, wildlife, and a healthy ecosystem. Walk away with practical tips for design, seasonal care, and keeping your native garden thriving year after year.

This free program will be held at the Boulder Junction Library. Feel free to bring a snack/lunch to enjoy during the program! Great for all ages! Donations appreciated. Wednesday, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Registration not required but appreciated.
