Description

Take a trek with Naturalist Jenna on the Raven Trail in Woodruff to celebrate the spring equinox! The spring or "vernal" equinox signifies the shift from winter to the warmer months ahead and as daylight and darkness stand nearly equal, we’ll explore subtle signs of spring awakening in the woods. Together we will wander down Northern Highland- American Legion State Forest's Raven Trail to seek out and learn how plants, animals, and people respond to this seasonal turning point while enjoying a reflective walk through the changing landscape.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required by 3/18/26.  It is suggested that participants wear appropriate clothing and footwear for this hike. This hike will be 2-3 miles in length and features variable topography. Participants will meet at the Raven Trail head and will receive an email prior to the event date with specific program details.  $15/Member, $20/Non-Member and $8/Youth (aged 12-17).  Friday 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
