Drop in anytime during the hour to learn from a Discovery Center Naturalist as we explore the amazing creatures found in our own backyards! For this month's Animal Spotlight we will explore woodpeckers of the Northwoods! These hammer-headed, feathered creatures are quite unique from their head to their feet. Discover with us to find out what makes these birds not only incredibly special, but also important to forest ecosystems!

 

Drop in during the hour to explore animal artifacts, learn fun animal facts, and ask a naturalists your wildlife questions.  Registration is preferred, but not required.  This event is offered free of charge to participants due to generous funds provided by St. Matthias Thrift Shop.  Saturday 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.
