Description
The Van Vliet Hemlocks are a beautiful example of an old-growth forest in the Northwoods. Join a Discovery Center Naturalist to learn about this unique habitat and explore interesting winter animal adaptations that allow animal's survival through winter. This approximately 2-mile snowshoe is moderately strenuous due to the rolling terrain of the area. Families are welcome!
Space is limited; advanced registration is required by 2/5/26. Registered participants will be emailed with more details, including where to meet, prior to the program. This event is free and is generously sponsored by the Friends of Van Vliet Hemlocks. Saturday 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
