Description
Unleash your creativity and explore the beauty of the natural world through art in this hands on class.
At the start of this workshop, the group will take a short walk with Naturalist Jenna on our interpretive trail to gather earth gifts along the way. You'll learn how to assemble a one-of-a-kind shadow box using a variety of materials including paper and natural elements like leaves, acorns, and sticks, as well as found objects and figurines. Whether it's a sentimental treasure, a whimsical keepsake, or an arrangement inspired by the season, you will be guided through the process of creating a stunning 7.5-inch x 7.5-inch shadow box that's full of nature's treasures.
Perfect for beginners and seasoned artists alike, this class is a delightful way to express your creativity while discovering the hidden beauty in everyday objects. Participants are welcome to bring their own earth treasures from home to utilize in their shadow boxes. You'll leave the class with a personalized piece of art to display at home or gift to someone special. No prior experience necessary - just bring your imagination and let's get creative!
