Description
Join fiber artist Mary Burns for this new workshop! We will explore the fascinating techniques of cyanotype printing creating pieces to take home and pieces to contribute to a display at the NLDC. Cyanotype printing is an early form of photography developed in the 1800’s. We will collect natural materials, place them on specially prepared fabric and let the sun develop our prints. It’s like magic! The class will also include the history of cyanotype and how it was invented.
Registration required by 7/11/2025. Sunday, 1 - 4 PM. $56/Non Member and $45 Member.
