Description

The ancient agricultural practice of gardening by the moon gives clues on when to be most effective in your activities. There is the best time for planting, weeding, harvesting, and living. The guidance is there, hidden in the stars. Nature's natural rhythms are opening and closing doors all the time. Come join Jane Hawley-Stevens to learn the planetary flow from her 35 years of experience in the field.

Jane Hawley Stevens began specializing in herbs in 1981 and in 1987 she began Four Elements Organic Herbals, continuing to grow herbs used for wellbeing. A pioneer in organic farming and the natural product industry, Jane has taken her love and reverence for nature to inspire others through her effective products and teaching at organic herb, garden and professional events. Her desire is to connect people consciously to that which sustains them. Jane is also author of the book The Celestial Garden which provides insights, ideas, and inspiration to the simple, yet expansive art, of consulting with the cosmos to inform our garden tasks on any given day, week, or month and enjoy greater gardening satisfaction and success.

We will serve light appetizers and have a cash bar from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm, presentation will run from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Registration required by 4/9/25 . Program is held at the North Lakeland Discovery Center Main Lodge. $17/Non-Member, $14/Member and $20 at the door for anyone who has not pre-registered. If you would like to register after the close of online registration, please call our office at 715-543-2085 prior to 4:00 p.m. on the date of the event to receive the pre-registration price. Thursday 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

There are limited volunteer spots available for reduced admission fees ($10/Volunteer bringing food and free for Volunteers that wish to help out from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm).
