Description
Join a Discovery Center Naturalist as we reveal this month's book A Nest Full of Eggs by Priscilla Belz Jenkins. Named a Best Children's Science Book of the Year by Science Books & Films, this picture book shows how the birds develop inside their eggs during the spring; how they mature into fledglings in the summer; how they learn to fly in the fall; and how they leave for warmer climates in winter—only to return when spring comes around again.
Please register the child/children names only. Space is limited and registration is required by 5/9/25. These programs are free of charge and are sponsored by the Shepherd/Howells Fund. Participants will meet at the Teal Cabin at the Discovery Center. The first 10 families to register will received a copy of the book thanks to the generosity of the Shepherd-Howells Fund! Saturday 10:00 am - 11:00 am.
