Description

Join a Discovery Center Naturalist as we reveal this month's book Someone Walks By - The Wonders of Winter Wildlife by Polly Carlson-Voiles! Someone is walking through the north woods in winter. Readers can see the tracks in each detailed depiction of winter habitat. On the way, they see many creatures surviving and even thriving in the cold, snowy winter environment. The artwork is created from intricately cut and torn colored paper with watercolor and ink detailing. Children will enjoy finding the many animals on each page of this award-winning book.

Please register the child/children names only.  Space is limited and registration is required by 1/24/25. These programs are free of charge and are sponsored by the Shepherd/Howells Fund.  Participants will meet at the Teal Cabin at the Discovery Center. The first 10 families to register will received a copy of the book thanks to the generosity of the Shepherd-Howells Fund!  Free program.  Saturday 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
