Show us your creativity at workshops featuring natural materials, methods, and themes. An opportunity to learn new skills and techniques from expert instructors in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Description

This workshop will enable you to explore the creative process of needle felting with the aim of completing your own small (5” x7”) needle felted landscape. If you have a special photograph of a simple landscape (or find one you like on the internet) to use as inspiration, bring it along! Sunrises, sunsets, seascapes, or any landscape that does not include too many elements are good choices for beginning with.

All materials and supplies will be provided. No experience is necessary. Children 10 and older are welcome, as long as accompanied by an adult workshop participant. Darcy will have additional photographs to work from as well. If you have a needle felting foam, wool, or sponge type pad to work on, please bring it to the workshop.

Registration is required by 1/11/25. Monday 10:00 am - 12:30 pm. $40/Non-Member and $35/Member. Participants will meet in the Forest Room in the Nature Hall at the Discovery Center.
