Join our Woods and Water team, where our passionate aquatic plant experts guide you on an enchanting journey through this underwater realm.
In our captivating three-part series, we will wander the shores of serene lakes, collecting and pressing specimens of these magnificent plants. Together, we will preserve their delicate beauty, learning to identify each one and uncovering the secrets of their special characteristics. Embrace this opportunity to connect with nature, to honor its splendor, and to become a guardian of its timeless image.
Participation in all three parts is not required but is encouraged.

Description

Join our expert Woods and Water team for an exciting short tour of incredible aquatic plant collection sites. We will visit multiple lakes filled with diverse aquatic plants, learning to identify and understand their unique adaptations. You'll also get to collect your own aquatic plants.
Part One of this series includes transportation to all the lakes and provides waders, muck boots, rakes, aqua scopes, and collection bags. Just bring a lunch and your enthusiasm for aquatic plants!

Registration is required by 9/2/24.  $15/Members and $18/Non-Members.  Wednesday, September 4th, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
