Join retired Ottawa Conservation Educator and Forester Joe Panci, along with a Discovery Center Naturalist, on this fun tour of forests.  We will ride together in our van and stop at specific locations that show different types of forest management.  Joe will explain the reasons behind, and the benefits of, these different strategies.  Short stops and walks/hikes accompany this tour.  

Participants will meet at the Discovery Center and ride in our van for this tour/hike.  An email will be sent to participants in advance with more info and what to bring for the trip.  A quick bathroom stop can be worked in if needed.  $25/Member and $35/Non-Member.  Registration is required by 8/8/24.  Saturday 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
