Description
Learn what John Dillinger and his gang were really like and the “behind the scenes” story of their weekend in Manitowish Waters as we travel by pontoon to historic Dillinger sites. Enjoy a box lunch and tour the grounds of the famous Little Bohemia Lodge, the property that was featured in the movie Public Enemies. The tour is led by Manitowish Waters Historical Society (MWHS) member, Kay Krans. Lunch cost is included in the registration fee.
An email will be sent to registered participants with directions to the launch site and items to bring prior to the trip. Participants will also be contacted in advance to choose their lunch option. Lunch will be held 12:00-1:00 PM for both sessions of the tour. Please note that Little Bohemia is not open when the afternoon tour departs, but they do have a restroom available onsite. Friday 1:00 PM - 3:45 PM.
