Summary

It is no secret the Northwoods is rich in water resources. These programs and experiences will get you on (and sometimes in!) local lakes and rivers, educating you on their fascinating link to local history and lore, ecology and importance.

Description

This program has been canceled. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. 

With 14,000 acres of water, 195 islands, 210 miles of shoreline, and the highest concentration of loon and eagle nests in Wisconsin, this canoe trip educates, excites, and astounds participants.    
Join Northwoods Learning Adventure’s Zach Wilson as he shares stories and knowledge of Wisconsin “Crown Jewel”.   Some paddling experience is required.  Canoes and PFDs provided.  

 

An email will be sent to registered participants with what to bring and the option to meet us at the landing or ride with NLDC staff from the Discovery Center.  Bathroom available at the landing.  Registration is required by 7/17/24.  $35/Member and $45/Non-Member.  Friday 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM.
