Description
In the field, naturalists and biologists often use nature sketching and journaling to record their observations. Others are inspired by nature and create beautiful art and poetry. In this Eco program, participants will learn about nature sketching, nature poetry, and will create their very own nature journal, to use out on the trails to record their discoveries.
Participants must be prepared to spend time outside, dressed for the weather, and bring a water bottle with them. Please note that this year Eco Explorers (ages 8-11) and Eco Discoverers (ages 4-7) will happen simultaneously, but age groups will experience the programs separately.
Registration required by 7/16/24. Thursday, 9:30 - 11:30 AM. $20/Non-Member and $15/Member. Participants will meet in the Teal Cabin/Forest/Water Room in Discovery Hall.
