Description

Join a Discovery Center Naturalist as we reveal this month's book "Spring After Spring: How Rachel Carson Inspired the Environmental Movement." Celebrate Women's History Month! As a young child, Rachel Carson observed how all living things are connected. And as an adult, Rachel watched and listened as the natural world she loved so much began to fall silent. This fun and inspiring book traces Rachel’s journey as scientist and writer.

Please register the child/children names only. These programs are free and are sponsored by the Shepherd/Howells Fund and the first 10 families receive a copy of this month’s book! Pre-registration is required by 3/22/24. Participants will meet at the Teal/Eagle Cabin at the Discovery Center. Saturday 10 AM - 11 AM.
