Summary

Show us your creativity at workshops featuring natural materials, methods, and themes. An opportunity to learn new skills and techniques from expert instructors in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Description

Using a combination of leather and copper foil, participants will create their own one-of-a-kind bracelet(s). There will be a wide variety of texture plates available to emboss the metal foil. We will be using a small propane torch to patina the copper, which produces beautiful color effects. There will be many colors of leather to choose from as a base for the bracelet. A sewing machine will be used to attach the metal to the leather.

Participants should bring their own sewing machine, and propane torch, if they have them! (Instructor has leather/metal needles to use for the sewing machines.)

Pre-registration required by 3/14/24.  We will meet in the Forest Room on campus in our Nature Hall at the Discovery Center.  Saturday 1:00 PM - 4 PM.  $25/Non-Member and $20/Member.
