Northwoods Seed Exchange Potluck

Bring your friends, a dish to share, and join us for a potluck while we learn about seed collection and winter-sowing, and together build an insect house for the Discovery Center. We will have free seeds available from our Northwoods Seed Exchange program and encourage you to bring seeds you would like to donate. We will have a short presentation on how to winter-sow seeds, and the benefits of insect houses and how to build one. Anyone may help build small insect homes to be a part of our large insect house on campus, or to take home. 

This event is free, but registration is required by 3/3/24.  The event is on Tuesday, March 5th from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, and will be held in the Discovery Center's Historic YCC Lodge.
