Northwoods Keynotes: What Makes The North "The North?" with John Bates

Join us for our newest program series: Sense of Place. Join Naturalist and Author John Bates as he introduces what it means to have a sense of place in this first program of the series.  The keynotes within a symphony make the music soar; they give the music its identity.  Likewise, every place on Earth is a symphony with its own identity.  What is the "music" of the Northwoods?  What identifies this place as somewhere remarkable and worthy of our deepest love and protection?  Let's share our thoughts!

Registration required by 12/5/23.  Thursday 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm.  Cash bar and light snacks at 5:30 pm, program starts at 6:00 pm.   Program is held at the North Lakeland Discovery Center Main Lodge.  $12/Non-Member, $8/Member.
