Frog Lake and Pines SNA encompasses 1,176 acres, and features Frog Lake, a 42-acre undisturbed wilderness lake. The SNA supports a beautiful old-growth northern pine forest set within lowlands bordering the Manitowish River. We’ll snowshoe 2 miles total on an out-and-back trail, but we’ll also have hot chocolate, wine, cookies and cheese and crackers by a campfire at a campsite along the river!  

 

Registered participants will be emailed information about where to meet prior to the program.  Registration required by 2/12/24.  Wednesday 10 AM - 1 PM.  $50/Member (Snowshoes No Charge), $60/Non-Member and $65/Non-Member (Plus Snowshoes).
