Immerse yourself in the season and discover winter up close! Learn about ecology from expert naturalists, historians, and artisans as you snowshoe down the trail. All ability levels are welcome, bring your own snowshoes or rent ours for $5.
Description
Join a Discovery Center Naturalist for a snowhsoe hike to watch the sunrise over Sturgeon Lake. We'll look for signs of wildlife and enjoy the tranquility of the early morning with nature. This hike will be 1-3 miles in length and easy going. The sun is scheduled to rise at 7:39 am on this date.
Registered participants will be sent directions to the trailhead. Snowshoes are available to rent (free to members). Registration required by 1/4/24. Saturday 7 AM - 9 AM. $8/Member, $10/Non-Member and $15/Non-Member (with snowshoes).
