Announcing Ron Eckstein, retired DNR wildlife biologist and volunteer with the Forestry Team of the Wisconsin Initiative on Climate Change Impacts (WICCI) as he discusses how a changing climate impacts north central Wisconsin’s forests and how forests can be managed to sequester and store carbon. Parents, are you looking to attend but don't have a sitter for the kids? Consider bringing them to Eco Nibblers "Enchanting Forests" program being held during Nibbles n' Knowledge!
Thursday, 5 - 7 PM. We will serve light appetizers and have a cash bar from 5-6 pm, program will run 6-7 pm. Registration required by 1/10/24. Program is held at the North Lakeland Discovery Center Main Lodge. $17/Non-Member, $14/Member and $20 at the door for anyone who has not pre-registered.
