Description

Participants will learn some unique dyeing techniques to create colorful fabric fat quarters or garments! Participants will bring their own 100% natural fiber fabric (fat quarters) (cotton, silk, rayon, or linen- in white or light solids) and/or garments to dye. Participants should be able to dye and decorate approximately 4 pieces. T-shirts, scarves, baby garments, unique shirts, etc. would all be suitable for this class. Plastic containers (zip-loc style or recycled food containers like cool whip, etc.) will be needed for each fabric piece or garment to fit snugly into (but flat) when scrunched up tightly; plus a large plastic dishpan, (or larger) plastic container. Familes are welcome!
