Rescheduled - Turtle Flambeau Flowage Historic and Naturalist Evening Pontoon Tour and Pizza

THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED DUE TO WEATHER FROM WEDNESDAY, JULY 19 TO THURSDAY, JULY 20, 5:30 - 9:00PM.

Join a North Lakeland Discovery Center naturalist and Manitowish Waters Historical Society member Jim Bokern on a 3.5 hour sunset pontoon tour of the Turtle Flambeau Flowage (TFF). The trip will depart from Springstead Landing and explore the histories, rich natural beauty and resources of the 13,000 acre Scenic Waters Area during the magical hours before sunset.  Some bound historic images for personal viewing will be shared to better illustrate the history and cultural traditions of the area.  Bring your preferred beverages and food, or enjoy a pizza dinner on the pontoon boat from the Birches Resort.

Registered participants will be sent directions to the landing. Registration required by 7/17.  $80/Non-Member and $75/Members of the NLDC or MWHS.   (Price includes pizza dinner!)

If the pontoon tour needs to be rescheduled due to weather, the rain date will be Thursday, July 20th.
