Gelli Printing Workshop

Join local artist and crafter Darcy Lanz-Sage for this fun workshop!  Whether you are already an “addicted” gelli-plate printmaker, or haven’t yet tried gelli-printing, this is the workshop for you!  This fast paced, yet meditative printmaking method allows you to produce beautifully textured and patterned papers (and fabrics) to be used in any number of creative projects.  In this workshop we will play with the gelli-plate and explore a variety of techniques using leaves and Darcy’s vast array of texture making items. We will experiment with different types of acrylic paints and papers. (While the focus of this workshop will be printing on papers, printing on fabric will also be touched upon).  During the workshop participants will have the opportunity to create some of their own mark making tools!  The gelli-plates react differently to different types of acrylic paint, so a workshop setting is the perfect place to explore those nuances!  Come join in the fun!!!  All materials and supplies provided…. However, if you have any acrylic paints (doesn’t matter what brand), please bring them!  Pre-registration required by 3/8.  Friday, 10 AM - 2 PM.  $50 ($45 members)
