Beaver Creek Hemlocks Snowshoe and Lunch with John Bates and Mary Burns

Join John and Mary for this unique showshoeing experience.  We'll hike a two-mile loop through old-growth forest habitat obtained by the Northwoods Land Trust in 2021.  We'll take our time and stop frequently to discuss the unique ecology of the old-growth hemlock-hardwoods.  You should have some snowshoeing stamina - two hours outside in the winter can be tiring.  After the hike, we'll eat lunch together - two kinds of vegetarian soups with b reads and cheese, plus hot cider and tea.

Instructions on hike logistics will be sent to registrants (we will be meeting to carpool at 9:30 a.m.).  Pre-registration is required by 2/5.  Tuesday 10:00 am - 12:00 pm with lunch at the North Lakeland Discovery Center from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm.  $40/Member and $45/Non-Member
