Join Libby in a ½ day workshop where you will discover how to create and compose compelling photographs. Learn how your camera or cell phone camera works and techniques you can use to take great pictures that really tell a story. Learn the secrets of perspective as well as how to edit, print, and share your images on social media. Join your classmates on a photo shoot where you can utilize the skills you just learned and top it off by sharing those pictures with your class. Great workshop for beginners and intermediate photographers. Bring a lunch and beverage. Workshop held at the Discovery Center Main Lodge on Friday, July 29 from 10 am - 1 pm.   Registration is required by 7/27. $35 non members ($25 members)

Libby Scott is an award-winning Northwood’s Photographer. She specializes in taking Northwood’s landscape pictures as well as images that capture “an era gone by.” Currently she is focusing her attention on her photo gilding project where she hand-paints precious metals on her photographic images. She may be familiar to you as she co-owned and managed the Old Schoolhouse Gallery in Star Lake for several years. Currently, she shows her work in several galleries through the Northwoods and lives with her husband, Doug, in the in the Star Lake area.
