Felted Fingerless Glove Workshop

Join local artist and crafter Darcy Lanz-Sage for this fun and creative workshop!  Fingerless gloves allow your hands to be warm, but keep your fingers free to do whatever it is they need to do!  Find a 100% wool sweater at a thrift shop or in your own attic; wash it in hot water with a cold rinse (to shrink and felt the fibers) and bring it to this class.  We will be using the sleeves to make a pair of fingerless gloves.  Darcy has a wide array of colorful wool roving’s and yarns to decorate them with, using dry needle felting techniques.  Materials (except felted sleeves) and supplies provided. Don't have a sweater at home to pre-felt and bring? For an extra $10 you can purchase wool sweater cuffs for the program from Darcy.  Registration required by 10/20.  $15 (One set of gloves (bringing your own felted sweater arms/cuffs); or $25 (One set of gloves (purchasing felted cuffs for project from instructor)
