Have you ever wanted to learn to can the abundance of fruit and vegetables from your garden but felt daunted by the process?  In this class we will teach you the basics of both water bath and pressure canning, safety procedures for preserving food, tips and tricks, and essential tools of the trade.  This is a hands-on class where you will be making a few simple recipes to get you started on understanding the process.  A step by step guide will also be provided so that you can go home and preserve anything from vegetables, pickles, jams, soups, salsa and an endless list of food to stock your pantry and amaze your friends and family!
