Description

Join Frank Schroyer, the Land Conservation Associate with the Northwoods Land Trust, for a talk focused on the unique characteristics of old growth forests and the interesting impacts they have on birds. This talk will provide a brief history of old growth in Wisconsin, discuss bird species who thrive in these forests, and take a closer look at the importance of protecting these relics of the past.  Join us for an evening of delicious nibbles and expanding your knowledge.

 

We will serve light appetizers and have a cash bar from 5 – 6 pm, program will run 6 – 7 pm.  Registration required by 5/31. 

Program held at the North Lakeland Discovery Center Main Lodge.  $17 ($14 members) $20 at the door.
