Knowledge at Noon at Winchester Public Library: Basics of Beekeeping

Join Discovery Center Water Program Director Jamie Van to learn about what it takes to become a beekeeper including an introduction to the Langstroth hive and its components. We will also learn about other types of hives and what type of beekeeping equipment is needed for someone to start keeping bees.

Program held at the Winchester Public Library. (This program is held on a Thursday as the library is not open on Wednesdays.)  Thursday, May 5, 12 - 1 PM. Donations appreciated.
