Discover on Demand: Science of Snakes

Discover on Demand is an environmental education series provided by the North Lakeland Discovery Center program staff. On the first of every month through May we will post a pre-recorded lecture on a different environmental topic relevant to the Northwoods. The programs are around an hour long and are great for teens and adults. 

Register any time, and you will receive an email from Rachel on February 1 before 10 am with the link to view the program.  You will have access to, and be able to view the program as many times as you would like until February 8.   

Creeping in the shadows, we can find a creature so striking and notable they have been the subject of myths and legends as well as fear and misunderstanding. Join Rachel as she debunks common snake myths and explores the natural history of one of the worlds most misrepresented animals on our planet!

There are multiple price levels, please choose whichever level is right for you. All proceeds go to supporting environmental education and inspiring an ethic of care for Wisconsin's Northwoods.
