Pre-recorded Virtual Program

Description

Discover on Demand is an environmental education series provided by the North Lakeland Discovery Center program staff. On the first of every month through May we will post a pre-recorded lecture on a different environmental topic relevant to the Northwoods. The programs are around 40 mins to an hour long and are great for teens and adults.

Register any time, and you will receive an email from Licia on December 1 before 10 am with the link to view the program.  You will have access to, and be able to view the program as many times as you would like until December 8.

Whooooo’s that in the woods at night? Join Naturalist Licia to learn all about one of the most unique nocturnal animals, the owl! We will discuss their many adaptations for surviving at night, and you will learn to identify several by sound!  This program is 56 minutes long.

There are multiple price levels, please choose whichever level is right for you. All proceeds go to supporting environmental education and inspiring an ethic of care for Wisconsin's Northwoods.
