Description

Join us for an evening under the stars with the Northwoods Explorers of Space and Astronomy. With good weather we plan on observing many objects, including Saturn and its rings along with Jupiter and its largest moons,  the crescent moon with contrasting shadows to see amazing craters, the Andromeda galaxy, the great globular cluster in Hercules where 500,000 stars exist some 25,000 light years distant, and the Ring Nebula. A short activity will start before observing. If the weather doesn't cooperate we reserved Friday, September 10th, as a backup. Handouts included. www.TheNorthwoodsExplorers.org.  Registration required by 9/9.  $7 ($5 members).

**Please bring a facial covering to wear when we cannot be socially distant from one another**   Please read our program and event registration and cancellation policy here.
