RESCHEDULED - Plum Lake Historical and Naturalist Hike

Join local historian Jim Bokern and a Discovery Center Naturalist on a fascinating hike through history in the Plum Lake Hemlocks Forest State Natural Area. We will explore the Milwaukee Road Railroad, state leased land and the people that lived in this area over a century ago and walk in their footsteps. This is an off trail, moderately strenuous four-five mile hike with one wetland crossing. Bring a lunch and water. Masks are required for this program. Participants must drive themselves to the trailhead (directions will be sent in advance). Space is limited so please register by 10/1. $25 ($20 for members of the NLDC and MWHS). Saturday, 10:30 am - 5 pm.
