Great Backyard Bird Count Open House

Join over 100,000 people of all ages who will be contributing to bird research around the world by counting the birds in their backyard February 12-15, 2016. Learn how you can participate in this year's count during an open house hosted by the Discovery Center Bird Club on the Saturday before the count.  Bird Club members will be available during the open house to introduce you to the methods used in the count, teach you how to identify common winter birds in the area, and get you set up for entering your data online.  It's a simple, fun, great for kids and adults, and can take as little as 15 minutes to contribute data about the birds in your backyard.
