Summary
Wild Instincts is a wildlife rehabilitation center located in Rhinelander. Every September, we are a host site for one of their annual fundraisers. Take a “Walk in the Wild” and enjoy the beautiful trails and fall color with your family, friends, co- workers, or leashed dog! When you participate in this fun walk, your fundraising pledges/donations will help Wild Instincts with the rehabilitation and release of the injured, ill and orphaned wildlife in the area. In addition, your actions, both in fundraising and walking, help to increase awareness in your community. The $20 registration fee includes a presentation by naturalist John Bates on "Fall Wildlife Migration and Adaptation". Registration from 8:30 am - 10:30 am (presentation at 10:00 am). A raffle drawing to participate in an eagle release will also be held that day - tickets are available at the Discovery Center, at Walk in the Wild, or by calling Bev at (715) 686-2258. Registration/pledge forms for the walk can be downloaded from:
