Summary

Drop in for games and activities for kids including a migration game, fishing, scavenger hunts, critters in the nook, owl pellet dissection, plaster animal track casts, track bandana stamping, face painting, and monarch tagging. Most activities are free with a small material fee for some. Lunch plates available for $5 each 12:00-1:30pm.

Description

11:00am - 4:00pm: Free family-oriented activities in and around the nature nook including The Great Migration Challenge game, meet the critters in our nature nook, fold the flock, scavenger hunts, fishing game, and geocaching.  

12:00pm - 1:30pm: Cookout Lunch available in lodge at $5 per plate

1:30pm - 4:00pm: More fun family-oriented activities!  Kids fishing on dock by waterfront, owl pellet dissection ($2), animal track plaster cast making ($2) and bandana stamping ($3), be a bat biologist activity, and face painting.  

3:30pm - 4:00pm: Monarch tagging demonstration (if monarchs are available)
