Lake Superior Ice Caves - Adult (moderate-strenuous intensity)

The ice caves are described as "an enchanting fairyland scene of frozen waterfalls and chambers filled with uncounted thousands of delicate icicles." Provided safe conditions, we will travel to the mainland caves (3 mile round-trip). If conditions are unfavorable, we will hike and view the caves from the ridgeline. On the way up to the caves we will stop for a late morning brunch at a casual restaurant. Brunch cost not included in fee. PREREGISTRATION BY FEBRUARY 19 REQUIRED.
