Purple Loosestrife Containment and Beetle Collecting Workshop - Adult / Family

Brock Woods, Wisconsin Loosestrife Biocontrol Manager, will teach us about this invasive plant and how to collect, propagate and release the Galeracella beetle that selectively eats loosestrife. One hour workshop at the Discovery Center followed by a field trip to collect beetles. Beetle collecting is great family fun! Bring a sack lunch.
