Eco Explorers (ages 8-11): Creatures of the Night

Who comes out after the sun goes down? What are nocturnal animals doing while we sleep, and how do they survive in the dark of night? Join us for an exciting exploration of nocturnal creatures like owls and bats as we uncover their unique adaptations! Participants will take part in interactive games, a fun craft, and even investigate what owls eat through an owl pellet dissection. Kids will also enjoy a snack and story during this educational children's program. Parents should plan on dropping off their kids for the program and returning at the end of the program for pick-up.

Participants must be prepared to spend time outside, dressed for the weather, and bring a water bottle with them. Please note that Eco Explorers (ages 8-11) and Eco Discoverers (ages 4-7) will happen simultaneously, but the age groups will experience the programs separately.  

Registration required by 07/06/2026.  Thursday, 9:30 - 11:30 AM.  $20/Non-Member and $16/Member.  Participants can be dropped off in the Discovery Hall.
