Description

Who’s singing in the trees, soaring overhead, and building nests all around us? What are birds up to, and why are they so important for our ecosystems? Join us for an exciting exploration of the world of birds as we learn to identify common species, create bird themed crafts, and head out on a short birding hike! Participants will have the opportunity to build simple bird feeders, explore bird habitats, and enjoy a snack and story during this educational children's program. Parents should plan on dropping off their kids for the program and returning at the end of the program for pick-up.

Participants must be prepared to spend time outside, dressed for the weather, and bring a water bottle with them. Please note that this year Eco Explorers (ages 8-11) and Eco Discoverers (ages 4-7) will happen simultaneously, but age groups will experience the programs separately.

Registration required by 06/16/2026.  Thursday, 9:30 - 11:30 AM.  $20/Non-Member and $16/Member.  Participants can be dropped off in the Discovery Hall.
