Explore the natural world through outdoor adventures. Depending on the season, we will hike, bike, ski or snowshoe while learning from Northwoods experts – naturalists, historians, geologists – in an engaging, recreational approach to nature education.

Description

Take a rainy April walk with a Discovery Center Naturalist to uncover the magic of rain in our Northern ecosystems down our Interpretive Trail. Upon return from our stroll, participants are invited to play an interactive game "Life of a Water Drop" where players travel around the earth pretending to be a water drop. Perhaps you will become water retained in a glacier or as pristine water in a lake or pond, come join us to find out and tell your own water drop life story by creating a beaded bracelet to take home with you. Families are welcome with children 4 and up.

Space is limited and registration is required by 4/24/26 . Registered participants should meet Jenna at the entrance to the Discovery Hall. $6/Member and $8/Non-Member. Saturday 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
