Description

It’s that time of year again—time to gather, share, and grow! Join us for the Discovery Center’s Northwoods Seed Exchange Potluck on Tuesday, March 3rd. Bring a friend and a dish to share, and enjoy a short presentation on the history of seed collection and the importance of seed sharing.

Attendees are welcome to bring seeds to exchange, though it’s not required—thanks to generous community donations, plenty of seeds will be available. After the presentation, get creative by making your own plant identification stakes using materials like rocks, wood, and air-dry clay. Come for the food and seeds, and leave inspired for the growing season ahead!

This event is free, but registration is preferred by 3/1/26.  The event is on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, and will be held in the Discovery Center's Historic YCC Lodge.
