Want to participate in the 2nd Annual Wacky Wildlife Derby Race at this year's The Really Big Event? Consider adopting an animal for the race. There are only 10 animals available for adoption.
The 10 people who adopt an animal for the Wacky Wildlife Race will enter for a chance to win a special prize basket!

Your $300 Animal Adoption includes:

• 1 animal to race

• Name, decorate, and race your animal

• 2 event admission tickets

• One person to roll dice, one person to move your animal down the track

• A chance to win a special prize basket

The North Lakeland Discovery Center's annual fundraiser is even bigger this year! Adding a festive touch, be in awe of entertainers, buy game coupons to enjoy table games, and/or participate or bet in the 2nd Annual Wacky Wildlife Race to win raffle tickets. A delicious BBQ meal will be catered by Lazy Ace Saloon accompanied by our donation bar and fresh-baked treats by Boulder Junction Coffee Company. To end the night's festivities, join us to bid on silent and live auction items which include experiential packages. All proceeds support the Discovery Center's environmental education & conservation efforts.

The event begins at 4:30 p.m. and will be held in the Lodge at the Discovery Center.
